Founders
Sebastian George, M.D. – A prominent Coachella Valley oncologist and founder of the Cancer & Blood Institute of Rancho Mirage, Dr. George passed away in 2002.
Arthur and Cory Teichner – Art, a two-time cancer survivor, and his wife, Cory, raised monies to provide more than $10 million of cancer treatment through the Desert Cancer Foundation. Art passed away during his third battle with cancer in 2005. Cory passed away shortly thereafter of heart failure.
